Cherry Grove Beach, SC

After resting a bit and visiting the hall, we decided to see where the road would take us.
The main road that passes thru Loris is SC Hwy. 9, check it out!
Cherry Grove Beach is the north end of the North Myrtle Beach area, its really nice because there are no big hotels in this strip of beach, just private homes.

Despues de desempacar y visitar el salon, fuimos a ver donde terminaba la calle
principal que pasa por Loris (SC Hwy. 9), Miren!
Cherry Grove Beach es la playa mas norte de North Myrtle Beach, esta muy bonita ya que no hay hoteles en este pedazo de playa, solo casas.

We took all of these photos so we could start practicing.
We also started a blog to showcase more of the pictures we have taken and
also show more of the restoration work we have done to see if this
creates a little income to pay the bills around here.

Home in Loris (Hogar en Loris)

We arrived in Loris and we are very happy to be here.
It will take some adjusting, but we are here to stay.
Thanks to Jah, a sister is allowing us to stay in a trailer that she owns here because its empty until we get on our feet. We told her that it should be no more then a month.
Here are some pictures and views of where we ended up staying, its really nice and big.

Nosotros llegamos a Loris y estamos muy contentos de estar aqui.
Va a requerir un poco de ajustes, pero estamos aqui para quedarnos.
Gracias a Jah, una hermana nos dejo quedar en el trailer de ella, ya que esta desocupado hasta que podamos rentar algo. Nosotros le dijimos que no seria mas de un mes.

First Week in Loris... (Primera Semana en Loris)
We arrived on a saturday and that monday, we got a key to the hall.

We just arrived and I am already in the schedule, wow.
In 9 years in Miami, in one congregation, I never read the watchtower.

It has taken us too long....

Hello everyone,
This post has taken me really long, more than 7 months, we have been so busy and trying to get used to our new environment that this had to take a back seat.
Now that we are settled in, we want to start updating you on what has been going on the past 7 months since we have been in our new congregation...

Nos a tomado muchisimo tiempo para actualizar el blog, mas de 7 meses.
Hemos estado muy ocupados y tambien aclimandonos a este nuevo ambiente, entonces el blog tuvo que esperar un poco.
Ya que estamos listos en un apartamento, podemos empezar a escribir un poco de lo que ha pasado en los ultimos 7 meses por aqui en nuestra nueva congregacion...

Last Assembly in Miami / Ultima Asamblea en Miami

As the title of the blog says, this was our last assembly at this Assembly Hall
(not only because we are moving), but because the hall is being put up for sale and our
circuit is scheduled to start having all the assemblies in West Palm Beach.

Como dice el titulo, esta fue nuestra ultima asamblea en Griffin (no solo porque nos vamos a mudar), sino que tambien por que el salon a sido puesto en venta y nuestro circuito esta supuesto a tener todas las demas asambleas en West Palm Beach.

It has Begun!!! Ya empezo!!!
Well my friends,
The date has been set for the move and things are coming along better than planned.
In two weeks we will be moving to Loris, SC
By February 18th we will be up there.
Below you will see some pictures of the area and the Kingdom Hall we will be going to.

Bueno amigos,
Ya hemos puesto una fecha para nuestra mudanza y las cosas estan saliendo hasta mejor que esperabamos. En dos semanas nos mudaremos para Loris, SC
Para el 18 de febrero ya estaremos alla.
Adjunto estan unas fotos de la zona donde vamos a estar y del Salon del Reino donde asistiremos. Tomamos estas fotos al comienzo del año cuando visitamos la congregacion.

NOS VAMOS A MUDAR!

We are going to be moving to serve in South Carolina.
We are SO excited and can't wait to get up there and start preaching.
The congregation is in Loris, SC which is 15 minutes from the border with NC
and its about 30 minutes north-west of Myrtle Beach,SC (check it out on the map its in a really neat location)

Nos estaremos mudando a Carolina del Sur.
Estamos muy contentos y anciosos de poder hacer esto y empezar a predicar.
La congregacion esta en Loris, SC que esta a 15 minutos de la frontera con Carolina del Norte
y como a 30 minutos hacia el oeste de Myrtle Beach,SC (Miren el mapa abajo para que vean la localizacion)

from Charlotte - 3hrs
from Greenville - 4hrs
from Lynchburg - 5hrs
from Miami - 12hrs
